Aron Demetz

Aron DemetzAron Demetz was born in Vipiteno in 1972. After attending the Art Institute and the Professional School for Wood Sculpting in Selva, in Val Gardena (Bz), between 1986 and 1993, Demetz affiliated and continued his studies with sculptor Willy Verginer. From 1997 to 1998 he attended the Academy of Fine Arts of Nuremberg, taking part in courses taught by Christian Höpfner. He has lived and worked in Val Gardena since 1999. He has taught sculpting at the Academy of Fine Arts of Carrara since 2010.
